I woke up feeling down and frustrated. For what reason I dont - TopicsExpress

I woke up feeling down and frustrated. For what reason I dont know....but then I read this. I am reminded that I am not alone, I am loved and I am not going to allow myself to fall into that pit. I can face anything with Christ. There are people who feel depressed like there is no escape from the prison in their mind. We live in a real world with real problems and how we deal with the problems in our life is totally up to us. The spirit of depression will have you trying to escape reality rather than deal with things head on. It will try to convince you that you can’t handle life’s problems. That you’re not strong enough. When I experienced severe depression in my life, I felt hemmed in, boxed in like there was no escape. I felt cornered in my mind like there was no getting out. The enemy had me held in captivity and in bondage, but Jesus delivered me and set me free! “Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression” the Bible says, “but a good word makes it glad.” What was the good word that made my heart glad and took away every bit of anxiety? What did God tell me that set me free? One day He spoke to my heart, “There is no condemnation to you daughter.” I had felt terrible and was beating myself up over past decisions I had made. I was stuck feeling condemned and helpless, but God spoke a good word to me that broke the chains of depression off of my life. I withdrew to get alone with God and He gave me hope and let me see Him with fresh eyes. I ran right into His amazing grace and was overwhelmed. One word from God can change your life! None of us are strong enough to face the enemy by ourselves. You can’t fight depression in your own strength.Thank God for modern medicine that help balance the chemicals in our brain and help us function, but understand God is powerful enough to heal and deliver you. Receive the supernatural power of God, His everlasting love and His good word.
