I woke up on Tuesday morning feeling very sore all over my body, with a terrible headache. Feeling cold, I checked my temperature, mild fever, later in the day up to 39 degrees. I was concerned, because I just got back from Timor Leste, and Atauro Island is well known for its Dengue fever risk So mid afternoon, I was at a hospital, to check for Dengue. Negative, but Doc sAid most likely some other virus, give it a week, rest and drink water.. By evening it got worse, 39.5, shivering an perspiring like mad. Very little sleep, and woke up with worse head ache and feeling like a zombie. Worst day since a year ago in Timor, when I felt same, but then it was a bout of gastro, not so now. But the tide seems to have turned, this morning, I felt a bit better, still very tired, but on the way back up. phew, I hate the thought of getting Dengue after living for over a year in T.L. And escaping it then.... With a bit of luck Ill be in action again n a day or two.
