I woke up thinking about perceptions of long ago and how through time we have come to realize just how insane and false they were. Then I thought about 2000 years from now, what perceptions do we have that will be thought of as false and insane? We found that 2000 years ago when someone had a seizure they were thought to be possessed of a devil. We found that draining people of their blood did not cure disease. We found that black plague was airborne and not passed by rats. And we found that an entire town had ergot poisoning and hallucinated about witches. What will they find about us that we perceive as truth and prove we were wrong?
