I woke up this morning and I thought how this day changed my life 62 years ago. I lost my 2 1/2 year old brother, Terry Lee to a horrible accident. He was not only my brother but my playmate and my best friend. He was a kind and happy young person. We played hard and got into our share of mischief. We poured a sack of flour on the dining room floor to run and slide in. We loved jumping on beds. His last Christmas, we got cowboy suits. We were wearing them the day he died. We had a new baby sister just three weeks old. He was so full of energy, happiness, and life. Then in the blink of an eye, he was gone. I wonder what he would be like today and what differences he would have made. In his short time, he altered my life forever. His memory will live forever with me.
