I woke up this morning and found an email from one of my relatives informing me that my tattoos are "distasteful", that I should quit altering my body for attention and I should put the welfare of my children before my "tattoo fetish". Okay, yes, maybe it is a fetish...but dont we all have one? and who is being hurt by mine? No one. As far as my fetish being about getting attention..are people really egotistical enough to think that I would sit through hours upon hours of pain, days of swelling and tenderness, and weeks of healing time TO GET THEIR ATTENTION?!?!? Ummm. no. Get over yourself, its not all about you, you egomaniac. My children, yeah...that one stung..because those of you who know me know that I have put the welfare of my children before EVERYTHING since the day they were born. They are good students, smart, polite, well adjusted and most importantly.....they dont judge others based on things like tattoos and piercings. The most genuine people I have ever met have been covered in tattoos. Some of the best mothers I have ever seen were covered in tattoos. My tattoo artist is a great guy with a wonderful family who has come through in emergencies when the rest of my "respectable nontatted" friends let me flounder. You think my tattoos are distasteful, fine...I think your entire attitude is distasteful. AND NOW I SAY GOOD DAY TO YOU!!! Have a MARVELOUS Sunday, my loves
