I woke up this morning and rushed to get the kids ready and out the door. Cramming down coffee and breakfast in the car I quizzed my son on his upcoming science test before dropping him off. Then I quizzed my daughter on her reading before dropping her and heading into work. Walking into work I was so focused on the tasks of the day it didnt dawn on me why everyone was gathering outside by the flagpole. It wasnt until I heard the announcement for remembrance that I then realized today is 9/11. F you terrorists, you lost, you dont scare us! Our lives our back to normal and you still live in cowardice consumed by hate. Tonight I will watch football and remember our lost before sleeping safely and soundly in my bed. #Merica
