I woke up this morning seeing the headlines from last night. My heart breaks for the families that lost yesterday, including the family of the soldier that did this. These soldiers need help!! The answer of medicating them is not it!! I read articles about the system. Well the system is broke!! I have heard of addictions, abuse and suicides all too much and no fixes from the DOD or VA. When will they wake up and see these soldiers are important and when they ask for help, do not brush them aside. It breaks my heart to know those that fight for us are treated like a number and do not get the help they deserve. We need to get them the help!!! Reach out if you know a soldier is in need of help. Do not ignore them. Maybe it is your voice or call that will help them stay with us.
