I woke up this morning with a pair of eyes that were somewhere between Mr. Magoo and Louis Braille. Thankfully, and miraculously, however, following a 30-second LASIK surgery, I now have perfect vision. This is just crazy. Its absolutely crazy. Me having perfect vision is like Michael Strahan having perfect teeth. But heres hoping that me seeing things more clearly helps me do so in every aspect of life. Along with keeping up with freelance stuff Im doing now to pay the bills, Ive recently decided to head back to school next year, in Boston, either for education, or counseling. Im 99% sure that Ill be pursuing a Masters in education, but whatever path I choose, the point is that Ill be doing something which draws on my own struggles and harnesses those struggles to help others. And thats something Im feeling pretty good about. To new beginnings . . . (Or something that sounds a lot less like a toast from American Pie . . . ) 3, 2, 1 ... HIT IT, JOHNNY!
