I woke up to seeing ppl change their status & dps to National flags and anthems. Nothing but a simple question strikes me hard, Are we really Independent? And if yes then why do we need to validate this just today through these updates? Are we free enough to opinion against things we dislike about our country? Are we free enough to choose professions/careers of our choices irrespective of the fact that Log kya kahenge? Or are we free enough to walk/pass loneliest of the streets late at night, free enough to educate women/children in our country if they really want to, free enough to seek justice and eradicate the black and white- the rich and poor- the highly-moderately qualified, the man-woman, free enough to secure our women, free enough to raise our voices againt the wrongs, free enough to carry on the legacies of our audacious revolutionaries. Are we really independent in terms of what we think, or do. To surpass the barriers set by us as countrymen. So are we really independent? Think again! ;)
