I woke up to this beautiful email yesterday morning, totally made my day: Hello Reina, I found your art this morning and was just amazed – not sure if that is the right word. I am not even sure how I stumbled on it. I love looking at your sun surf and tropical flowers. Eclipse is magical and it brought the universe in closer. Probably the colors and probably the form – don’t really know was does it – it just changes me while looking at it. It evokes an experience and stirs something inside. It is something wise, passionate, joyful and creative – but creative from some special place. It seems to resonate visually like a Tibetan bell does in sound – and your paintings do have a song to them. It seems to help me focus my awareness to the present – for me it is that which is created in real time – like surfing a wave. Your work and thoughts are very inspiring and yet does something else I can’t pin down. Sorry for rambling but your work opened something in me.
