I wonder how many people in Delaware that will attend this event, also supported Sheriff Jeff Christopher and the power of a County Sheirff? How many allowed the powers be stripped away by the General Assembly without amending the State Constitution? Do you people really support cops? Or even know what that means? Often times referred to as a Town Cop or City Cop But do you know what it really stands for? =Conservator of the Peace. Most people dont, That was proven when Delaware argued about how a County Sheriff is not a COP and the citizens allowed their elected officials to pervert the interpretation of COP and take from them their guard against abuse of power that occurs within the government itself.. There are many police out there who do an outstanding job. Holding their choice of careers to the highest level of standards possible. And like anything in life. there are good mixed in with the bad. Good teachers. Good doctors, Good pastors, and bad in everything. I am opposed to officers who abuse their power. or are neglectful of the people whom they serve.But that again goes back to how the state of Delaware was permitted to pervert COP and the voters, for the most part either supported that perversion or done nothing but vote for thje same people to remain in office for over stepping their duty as a COP themselves. We have corruption in the States DOJ that can not be ignored by events such as this. One can be supportive of the COPs and those souls who have become part of the fraternity of Police. While also showing a strong opposition to the police abuse of power that does in fact occur. So do you support the COPs? or just following along with knee jerk reactions so as to not make you look like you hate all police just because you hate abuse of a position by some who are just thugs in a costume issued by the state? .
