I wonder if I have a black cloud hanging over my head. First my washer all but died. It is temperamental to say the least and is subject to quit at any time. Then, a mouse got into the back of the dryer somehow (out in the garage utility room where four cats live - go figure) and shorted out the dryer. Seemingly, it cant be fixed. When I was baking cookies last night, sparks flew out from behind my range and it was popping and crackling to beat the band. Fortunately I only had one pan of cookies left and I just left it in the oven until it was pretty much done. I have two refrigerators and a freezer all of which are still working... So, what that means is that I can eat cold stuff while wearing dirty clothes. Not real happy with this situation. Have shopped and may be able to get something second hand. My range is a Gibson that I got from my sister years ago and it has been a great one. So, I dont mind getting something USED. Lord knows, I am only going to USE IT more. Anyway, you will not see any delightful recipes coming from me any time in the near future...
