I wonder if I’m the only parent that doesn’t know what to get my kids for Christmas? There is nothing specific that they have asked for. I commend them for not being greedy. I guess I kind of set the bar for them in previous years. I’ve always done the best that I could. I try not to get frivolous stuff. I always put a lot of thought into what I got. Refurbishing hand-me-downs and accessorizing what they already have is the name of my game. All this buy new everything and the same thing every year is for the birds. I’m practical and because of it my kids are too. I also have kept it real with them. We don’t do Santa Claus at my house. We do pretend for my younger babies but yeah Santa gets no credit. Don’t get me wrong, I did when they were younger. I just don’t understand the concept of telling the kids they need to be nice during this season so they can get stuff. Aren’t they supposed to be nice all year long? Besides shouldn’t Jesus be more popular than Santa? #teamJesus #Ilovemybabies #tistheseason
