I wonder if anybody watched the BBC Spotlight this afternoon? Report on NDDC stopping salting the roads if we have bad weather this year, also thinking of not spraying weeds, cutting verges etc. etc. Just what DO we pay our Council Tax for? Yes I understand they are not getting a lot of Government funding but neither are our wages going up but we are still expected to pay for the services they are supposed to provide arent we? How about instead of contracting work out that they bring it in house surely that has to be cheaper thus saving the money they are being asked to by Government. It must be dangerous to human life if the roads arent gritted during bad weather? They also mentioned about US actually paying for the salt and doing it ourselves - damn cheek ! Okay rant over !!
