I wonder if fewer people walking in Maywood for services as they did in the 50s through the 70s has changed Maywood and other suburbs and their small business owners longevity. Its not Mayberry anymore someone said. I know I shop the Hispanic owned markets for their fresh fruit and vegetables and reasonable prices. Without getting into politics whey did the Maywood Market fail or is it still open? Grocery chains are struggling anyway.
