I wonder if the audio quality of car FM modulators could be - TopicsExpress

I wonder if the audio quality of car FM modulators could be improved at all by taking it apart and desoldering the rabbit ears from the RF gain stage solder rosin and soldering a wire to the same rosin and soldering that wire to a piece of aluminum foil as the removable rosin to attach the alumnum foil to the car antenna with duck tape. You have mains hum and spark plug hum and alternator hum with a casset adapter, and you have radio interference with the FM modulator. But I wonder if the radio interference would be removed by soldering directly to the car antenna.
