I wonder if there is a paradox here? Could OmniTrax be having problems with severe permafrost issues because of climate change as is happening in northern Quebec (Village of Salluit), in the Yukon, and in Nunavut where other buildings erected directly on permafrost are now sinking? If so, the convoluted connections between the Harper governments connections to big oil, Merv Tweed (former Conservative MP and now CEO of OminTrax), and climate change might be worth thinking about, maybe?
