I wonder sometimes at people and what they talk about. They are quick to judge and criticize others by what they think they know or see. Everyone can mess up sometimes! They seem to forget that you only see a tiny piece of that person and their life. They do not know the trials that person has faced or is facing every day. They don t know the path anyone has walked but their own. Some people have a paved highway thru life while others have wallowed through muddy trenches, so to speak. Now some may think no one could have as rough life as they, themselves have but they are very wrong. I hate to break it to you, but there s always someone who has had it worse! For example, there are elderly men that served our country, who saw horrible things in war but today they are seemingly happy grandpas. Holocaust survivors. You don t know how they sleep at night or if they still wake up from nightmares. There are some people that struggled and still struggle with addiction. It s so easy to judge if YOU VE never been there. People with diseases like PTSD that look perfectly normal but suffer in their own private Hell. So I ll admit, it makes me a little angry when people pick at others when they have NO CLUE. Just because someone is trying to be normal and doesn t quite fit the mold does not give ANYONE the right to judge them. So if your sailing has been smooth with a few minor bumps here n there don t assume everyone else s trip has been the same. Is it so hard for you to to build someone up rather than tear them down? Life is hard and it shapes us all. Leave the judgement to God. He will decide. (And I suspect it might surprise you.)
