I wonder what Jesus was feeling on this day, 2,000+ years ago. Knowing very well that He was about to complete the assignment He was sent to do-die on the cross for ALL mankind, past, present, AND future. Pretty sure He was feeling lonely, betrayed, and wondering where God was in all of this. This morning I am thankful that my Jesus is a Savior who identifies with the times in our lives when WE feel lonely, betrayed, and wondering where God is. I pray that this weekend, we would encounter the work of the cross. The cross represented the ENDLESS love that only Jesus is able to give to us. The cross equals love. And like the old hymn says, There’s room at the cross for YOU”. Let’s pack God’s house this weekend with as many people as we can!! Whether it turns out to be standing room only, let’s just keep in mind, there’s ALWAYS room at the cross for MORE!!! Xs&os
