I wonder what its like to be able to be an active parent when its convenient for you? Ive never had the liberty, and I wonder how I would be viewed if I did. As a single mom I do things to my childrens benefit, sacrificing myself to better them and keep them busy, but I get tired. I dont know. Sometimes I just wanna go ham, but then I think why? Sometimes I wanna throw bricks, make a late night run with some jungle juice, tear up material things, call and curse, act out on behalf of what I feel isnt right for my kids...but why? Im sorry, but even parenting has a basic level of reasoning and responsibility, and no one should be exempt from it. I dont care what job you have, the hours you work, where you work, how much child support you feel is fair, how many other kids you may have, none of that. I do what I have to, because if I dont take action for them, NO ONE ELSE WILL. PERIOD! Get on board with what I do, or just go away. Dont be a distraction, support, encourage, be involved in whats going on with your child. I chose to have 5 kids, and guess what, Im active and involved with all 5. And I do it for them. Not for glory, not for praise, not Facebook or Instagram, none of that. My life is devoted to being a mother, a full time parent, one who doesnt take enough time for herself because if do....Im clearly making a poor choice as parent and I should have thought about that before I had children. Lol, but hey, like I said. I chose to have em, and Im going to continue to raise them - not just let them grow up (theres a difference). I need to go to bed, this could go on and on.
