I wonder when Nigerians will take on board the reality that there is something known as Dual citizenship. People have a right to be citizens of two or more nations at the same time. This right must be respected. A lot of whites are well settled in Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Angola, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. Why not Nigerians in other lands? Most Nigerians keep using the term, Host nation, which is wrong. When you acquire citizenship of a nation, that nation is no longer your host nation but your nation through and through. You can vote and be voted for. You can take offices. You can claim benefits that you are entitled to including housing. You can represent your new nation in all forms of international sports. THEREFORE, YOUR NEW NATION IS YOUR NATION! Remember you actually took an oath and signed to be loyal and true to your new country before they gave you that right. You are not loyal to your birth nation and you are not loyal to your new nation. Na wa ooh! Which one you dey? We must learn to be loyal to something biko. Some have not gone home for twenty years and neither do they even have a house back home, yet regard there present nation as not home...lol MCO.
