I wonder why every good or bad thing in cricket is attributed to the batsmen these days. Is having a terrific strike rate the only ability a good batsman must have? Must he be ruthless a hard hitter who can smash each odd ball for six? What about the bowlers? Do they deserve recognition only at the cost of the batsmens failure? Last evening, it was an example of splendid cricket. The Sri Lankan bowlers kept their line and length and bowled really well. It wasnt Yuvraj or any other batsmans fault. Any team would have collapsed to such marvelous bowling. I refuse to hold Yuvraj Singh responsible for Indias defeat. He is a sportsman of the highest order and the best of masterminds too have their bad days. Being an ardent cricket lover, I protest against all unsporting idiots whose status updates have done nothing but blame one of the stalwarts of Indian Cricket in the most unjustified manner under the sun. As if they would have played better if they got down at number 5!
