I wonder why people say there are no worker related issues in the udc manifesto.I only selected the following ,but there are many more.the five pillars have something for everybody.those who say udc has nothing for workers might be deliberately lying or cannot read. Page 12 =to restore professionalism in public service management =provide training to develop capacity =restore cordial relations between government and trade unions,as well as embrace the strengthening of established institutions such ad the bargaining council =improve overall Morale in the civil service through a raft of incentive-based initiatives,linking increases to performances of government services and revenues. =restore professionalism in the top echelons of the security forces by curtailing undue influence of the presidency in the affairs of such institutions. Page 15 =create a balanced supportive eco-system of civil service ,tradesmen,entrepreneurs and small business,private sector and corporations. =build cordial relations between employers and and trade unions-and ensure mutually beneficial rewards of a robust economy. =catalyse a balanced industrial organisation that generates sustainable jobs. page 16 =ensure taxes remain low....... Page 28 = employment of vast amount of labour for our envisaged infrastructure expansion.. =to resolve the fundamental root cause of the gross inequality of income/wealth among our people through a balance of short term and long term measures. Page 29 =providing support systems for families in the work place. Page 9 =improve teacher remuneration by establishing incentives linked to outcomes. =encourage workers in the private and public sectors to enhance their skills through new initiatives for life long learning.
