I work for a company that rents specialized equipment. Pumps, tanks, filtration, portable pipeline and more. We rent a lot of frac tanks. We had one last winter come back 1/2 full of ice and creosote from the new Hwy 7 and Louisiana overpass project. Contractors need to rent these tanks from us because the EPA and MPCA just wont let them discharge ground water from excavations into the sewers or any where until the water is tested and certified clean. It took about 3 weeks for it to thaw out! We had to get an environmental clean up company out to suck the contaminated water out and steam clean it! That tank reeked so bad, a couple of us got sick! So I Googled Republic Creosote in SLP! No workers from there were ever documented to ever getting cancer or any disease from it! Just Google Republic Creosote and Saint Louis Park. Very interesting reading!
