I work in the same building as the Social Security and Child Support Offices. There is also a mens shelter down the street. There are always some interesting people in the parking lot... That was some background info for the real story: So, my back has been out since Saturday. If Im lucky I can hobble around on one leg, hunched over, with the occasional muscle spasm halting me in my steps. Its rather pathetic. When I arrived to work this morning, I couldnt get out of my car! It took me the better part of about 15 minutes to turn my body, put my feet out together, scoot to the edge, and pull myself up and out. Only to have to adjust my hips so I could stand up straight and take my first step forward. I came across a man with crutches and ONE LEG who asked me if I needed help!!! Talk about low point in my life. Dont take for granted your walk to the restroom or water cooler today.
