I work with elderly that have Alzheimers. I have been doing this for 10 years. Not a day goes by that a family member comes to me and says how do you do it? How do you look into there eyes when nothing is there. Man I wish my mom, dad, grandpa, grandma would look at me or say my name. And this is what I say. You look deeper! They are there you have to extend your hand and grasp it. If you give up the opportunity to grasp it one day it will be gone, and there will be the great and powerful what if. So if everyone would call, text, whatever your method of communication is to everyone that you love, and just say hi, or I love you. You would be surprised at how much you love to hear that voice., because one day it might not be able to talk back to you. Just word for thought.
