I work with the most incredible and thoughtful people. Today, was my leaving afternoon tea party, an emotional day, were I was given a New Zealand charm bracelet. The charms are: 1. A silver fern (represents the cycle of life, friendships, relationships and memories that well treasure forever) 2. A NZ map (memories of the land of the long white cloud .. Aotearoa) 3. An Edmonds Cookery book (as I love to cook/bake) .. the Edmonds book is found in most NZ homes, and is an iconic symbol of NZ. 4. Mount Cook Lily - represents kindness (and is one of my recent accomplishments in NZ) 5. Christchurch - The colourful bead represents Christchurch, with the blue symbolising the Avon river and the black and red representing Canterbury colours and a sign of strength and courage. Ive truly enjoyed calling Christchurch my home over these past few years.
