I worked on the production of a song that sold millions around the world and had a flavor uniquely Brazilian but the song was universal. My friend Pedro Vidal PeterPc informed me that man who did many productions for the Artist I worked with was and was playing key and bass on the track passed away just the other day. This is to the great maestro, arranger, writer, producer and player who gave his bed too so many over such an illustrious career. The Artists were awesome and I can still remember the first time I heard the tune that I was to work on and was amazed at what a great feel it had in the same vein of the Doobie Brothers What a Fool Believes. Here is the song I worked on that had the now departed talent, Lincoln Olivetti, playing all over this track. I incidentally brought in studio Master Percussionist, Jimmy Maelen, who played percussion on What a Fool Believes to do the overdubs I needed on this track.
