I would bet that many of you have questions about WHAT The Red Pill (tm) is, what it can do, how it can help you. Im going to launch a few ideas here.. This device is a computer - a mini-server - about the size of a potato. It plugs into your Internet modem, and becomes a direct bridge between you and your contacts, it provides an interface to global secure communications, and it is a gateway that YOU control between you and the rest of the world. The three concepts here are: 1) social and business networking without involving 3rd parties; 2) quick- appliance like communications (no login procedures) for basic services (voice, video, text, web, business, etc); 3) protection, security, privacy. The Red Pill (tm) is unique for a few reasons. It was designed to be a communication service appliance. It has to be as simple to use for ALL global digital services assuming the user is not a geek. It has to be able to communicate with every service and device on the planet (which has taken 20 years to perfect), It needs to be inexpensive (The Value proposition is to reduce the cost of communications down to JUST the cost of bare-bones Internet Access). It has to provide a competitive experience to justify a shift away from marketing hype and provide real value. IF you assume Internet Connectivity at your home, work, and vehicles, in 95% of your day, You ARE connected to the rest of the world. If 95% of your interactions are with people that you know, your friends, family, co-workers, you dont need to put your billboard on public exposed networks. There are things that are cool like video on a 2.5 mobile screen. But is that really where you want to watch a big screen movie? If simple devices (Tablet: $75 - TV: $300 - Phone: $20) on home internet ($40) meet or exceed the needs, then 95% of your important communications dont need the hype. A VoIP phone we have in development, will have unlimited voice, text, music, over your existing private network, without per minute charges. With a cellular data modem ($35/month) for the vehicle, and home internet ($40), and tapping into your work net, You will have nearly unlimited voice, video, and text over all of the devices that you use. With a $25 basic VoIP phone for each member of our house, As were already paying for home net, Wed replace the two cell phone plans at $110 with one for the vehicle at $35. Wed have unlimited services, and when you tack on additional phones..(One time charge) there is NO EXTRA MONTHLY CHARGE. To do this.. youd need a smart gateway that acts like your communication gateway. Something that would unify all of your voice mail and other services in one spot. A device that would keep your protected information in a secure space. A device that would keep in contact with my social and business connections. What youd need is The Red Pill (tm).
