I would comment on last nights election results, but in my experience doing so will only lead to people posting comments on my thread telling me how stupid I am or how wrong I am for believing the way I do. I dont have time for that sort of negativity. So, I will generally keep my opinions to myself. I am disgusted at some of the status updates that I have been seeing, in which people call out others for supporting whomever it is they support politically. When it comes down to it, I may disagree with your choice 100% but I will never tell you you are stupid (or other negative adjective) for making that choice. Some of my friends place different levels of importance on certain issues that naturally lead to them supporting x candidate. If that issue is what is important to YOU, then by all means vote for the candidate that supports that issue. But do not judge me for applying the same type of criteria when I am choosing for whom to vote. I may even agree with you on that particular issue, but it may not be THE issue that determines how I vote. Stepping off of soap box now.
