I would encourage you to attend AEIP (Aerospace Education Industry Partnership) Day next year! It was outstanding! Their mission is To bring together educators and industry members to create the aerospace workforce of tomorrow. We got to talk to people in the aerospace industry, including individuals from Boeing, Northrop Grumman, OK NASA Space Grant Consortium, Tinker Air Force Base, and many more. We also got to participate in hands-on aerospace lessons for our classroom. In addition we got to hear awesome individuals speak who are dedicated to this endeavor, such as Ben Robinson, Jari Askins, Steve Hendrickson, and James Grimsley. Lastly, we toured Tinker Air Force Base and spoke with their employees to gain insight into what students need for the aerospace work force. I am proud of our OK aerospace industry and excited to implement what I learned into my classroom!
