I would first of all like to appeal to my fellow African - TopicsExpress

I would first of all like to appeal to my fellow African contributors to this forum. English is not our first language and sometimes may cause one to fail to express themselves properly, this may lead to being misunderstood and sometimes ridiculed. Take no offence. You can activate SPELL-CHECK mode or WORD-PREDICTION mode on your gadget. Be careful because WORD-PREDICTION may give you an unintended word as your first option, always check before clicking OK. Secondly I have noticed how some of us easily get personal when someone perceivably twists your words or goes beyond your scope of knowledge or reasoning. If you would let them be and just hold your silence, you will be more christian than getting personal. This may not only be limited to my African fellas, but is greatly seen in us. And to the other world (America, Europe and Australia) I have observed some smart and subtle ways of telling someone he/she is a fool or devil. They get so personal and harmful while using polite speech, and sometimes annoyingly rhetoric. All this behaviour is counter productive and makes people distance themselves from your proclaimed God. If we would be a little wiser in our speech we would achieve much.
