I would humbly like to submit that the real winner of this exercise of Darnas has been the Army. It wanted to pull the steel rods out of the PLMN Government and Sharif Brothers necks (and to possibly provide safe passage to General Musharaf). They have been very successful at accomplishing at leat one of their goals for now (maybe even both). You can judge this from the cowering necks of Sharif Brothers and all their cronies. They had, I would like to venture, no intention of going beyond that. They do not want to be faced with traitor trails down the road like General Musharaf is facing these days. Imran Khan with PTI and Dr. Tahir ul Qadri with PAT were, knowingly or unknowingly, used to accomplish their whole scheme. They turned out to be the perfect pasties. They all stand to loose so much without gaining much or very little for their constituents. What a great waste of such great talent and for what - to take the steel (no pun intended) out of Sharif Brothers neck. May Allah swt help us all. Ameen
