I would just like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all who attended TITW 2014. It was an awesome weekend full of fun, tons of good food and wonderful family and friends - Im so glad everyone braved the elements and made it up to Camp Allegany. Ive been enjoying all the photos - I just love seeing everyone have a good time and love the fact that we have all these kids now who will grow to love Allegany as much as we do, because we are building memories with them. Thunder rocks and sledding, hot chocolate after, movies in the dorm on a snowy night, craft time.... so much fun packed into a short weekend - next year we will be adding a day to make it from Thursday to Sunday. An extra night for Beer Pong and Donuts at midnight. I would say thank you to everyone individually who made this special but I would just name everyone who came. Everyone contributed to an awesome weekend by cleaning, cooking, organizing - there was no shortage of help and it all went of without a hitch. We all thank Stephanie Morningstar for her kitchen expertise and cleaning help, Bonnie Esford for cleaning and cooking despite the back pain, Carol Schuler for her kitchen help and her craft time organization, Nicole Zaprzal and Meghan Mangan for helping with cleanup and food prep........Donna Reid and Roy for potato peeling duty and especially Donna for being our cleaning patrol during the day..John Kruszka and Brooke Frontera for helping clean up the kitchen on the last day so we could leave the camp on time, Noel Morningstar for breathing life into the bonfire and always being around when help was needed, Jason Gray for cooking the bacon for breakfast even though I let it burn in the oven lol, Jay Weaver for remembering the radio (even though it only played country lol)...the list is endless. You were all awesome and that camp was spic n span when we left!!! Super job EVERYONE!!!! The fifty/fifty was won by Taylor Mager - she graciously donated her share back into the kitty for TITW 2015. We have $130 to start and she attends free next year. I tried to talk her into taking the money but she insisted. Next year we are trying for the end of August or the first week of September. I will email the contact for Camp Allegany and see when I would have to put in a request to get the date we need. Thank you everyone - CANT WAIT FOR TITW 2015!!!!!
