I would just like to say that I am so grateful and appreciative that my family has had the opportunity to benefit from the often criticized and condemned Affordable Healthcare Act. More commonly known as Obamacare. Let me just say that After having two heart procedures last year, one which involved opening my fiances entire chest twice in one day and the other a cardiac ablation later on in the same year, that when he wasnt able to work and lost his healthcare coverage, it was no surprise that we were unable to purchase healthcare coverage privately due to pre-existing conditions. And that was after being cleared and returning to the workforce. So I would just like for it to be known that 4 months after being turned down for health insurance, thanks to the Affordable Healthcare Act, he now has great insurance which was chosen on the government website. And it is called Blue Cross and Blue Shield, not Obamacare. And we CAN afford it. AND it is the EXACT same plan that turned him down in the first place. Maybe better. So while Im sure that there are probably a few kinks and things that need to be worked out, as Im also sure that the original Medicare and Medicaid programs did as well, I have every hope and belief that it will get worked out for all.
