I would like everyone to pass this on. In a few words this is the situation. January 2014 we purchased a truck and fifth wheel trailer to start getting ready for retirement. Too date we have missed 4 camping trips with kids and grandkids. We have only had the trailer 5 days since January. We spent one night in January only to discover the hitch was defective so the place had to tow it back to lot for us. Of course it was going back any way since they had not fixed the items they were to fix before we picked it up. Right I know keep it short. Picked it up once , opened slide major slide problem, went back to shop, picked up again, same major slide problem. What you need to know that this whole time Rick is dealing with the warranty department in Indiana inorder to get the parts sent. The dealer has been horrible, has promised money refund for the extra night the trailer spent alone at the campground with the broken hitch, the refund of fuel for the 300 round trips it has cost us to keep taking it back. They do not return phone calls as promised. It has been horrible. I finally got through to a guy (I would love to say his name) and asked how he was going to replace the time I have missed with my grandkids. As usual no response. As of last Friday, the nice guy in Indiana found us a new place to take it for the repair. Moral to this short story. Do NOT BUY OR SUPPORT SUNSET RV IN FIFE, WASHINGTON!
