I would like some honest parenting advice. My kids are 5 and 6 years old. They are very close to their Grandma. Tonight, I had the difficult conversation of telling them that we will have to wait and see if God is going to heal Grandma, or that He might take her home to be with Him in Heaven. I do not want to traumatize them, but I also want them to be prepared in case she does not pull through. I want to show them an example of my faith and trusting God with whatever His will happens to be. Is this way too heavy of a subject to expose a 5 and 6 year old to? How much should I shelter them from this situation? I am really uncertain of how to deal with this.
