I would like to add my 2 cents to the past discussions and posts regarding Ferguson... Perspective is everything, however, there is no need to shoot an individual 7 times...and the 7th shot was the death shot to the head. What is the purpose of tasers?...But the real issue is years of a systematic and a calculated method of killing if not our bodies, but our spirit and hope for a better life. One death such as this takes out thousands of Blacks mentally. Now hopefully the uppity Negros (and you know who you are...judging every other brother or sister for every little vice or flaw they may have, even though you are still burying your skeletons) dont take offense for the term Black versus African American. To me either will do because I know and always known who I am as a young black man in America. I digress...As for the systematic dismantling of our communities, it is not just them but we need to accept responsibility for our actions or lack there of. Although they kill us in disproportionate numbers, the real objective is to kill our spirit, hope, desire, faith, fellowship with one another, etc. Yes, some of us are damn fools and need to have our asses locked under the jail, but the ends do not justify the means. We as a people need to have an appropriate discourse to this situation and start to heal one another. The posts that we mindlessly submit for all to see on FB more often than not contain mindless nonsense and does not progress more important issues forward. We as a people have really lost our way and those of us who feel that we have made it, have been lulled into a false sense of security. This veil of false security is comprised of nothing more than our social economical achievements, which is fleeting.
