I would like to agree with those who are saying African governments must change laws or enact new statutes to deal with churches. Surely, we cant continue doing nothing about this industry. These institutions are robbing goverments by not paying levy/tax. Churches must be taxed. They make millions each year. African governments must introduce some levy on these people. l call upon all political administrations in Zimbabwe in general and in Gwanda in Particular to take the first step and adopt laws that will see this industry paying tax like any other industry. This must apply in Rural areas. Chiefs must be given authority to audit churches under their jurisdictions and ask for levy. There is a Masowe and John Marange or postol in every corner. Tax them. They are milking people Dry whilst they dont pay tax.
