I would like to ask a questions of ragdoll breeders. Please dont take this as a criticism, I am just interested to know. There maybe a reason that I am unaware of. Why do ragdoll breeder not ultra sound for HCM. The DNA test for HCM in Maine Coons, should be used as a breeding tool ONLY but not a means to sell kittens as the DNA result doesnt mean the kitten/cat is clear of HCM or not. Not sure if this is the case with Ragdolls but I never see any ragdoll breeders posting ultra sound results. Anyone care to comment.
