I would like to ask the President to do me a personal favor. Please Mr. President stop using this phrase thats not who we are Mr. Presidents that is exactly who we are. The desire to separate us from our misdeeds and uncomfortably visible warts I understand but Mr. President we are a nation of people with huge downsides as well as some pretty cool upsides. I offer into evidence that we fought a war to eliminate slavery as a definite up but we now wish to do something which is very repulsive which is send people who were our de-facto slaves back home without the children that they came to have or brought with them because we no longer have a need for them. We had looked into this earlier in our history when one of our greatest Presidents suggested that we return the black slaves that had provided the labor that powered our economic growth be returned to their homes in Africa. It was just an idea but it just shows how we were who we are throughout our history. I appreciate Mr. President that your role as cheerleader in rallying us to knock down walls and embrace the repulsive behaviors of some of our citizens demand that you find cheers that work. We all want to feel like we are better then our human all to human natures allow us at times to be. Mr. President we have become followers that will take our direction from the sound of the loudest bell even if that bell worn around the neck of the Judas goat leads us to slaughter or over a Clift. Please Mr. President reconsider your words. No one Mr. President should know better than you just how we are not better then that. Please consider in your remaining 2 years being more truthful with the American people. Start with this Mr. President. You Lie Drop the civility that is wasted on these folks Mr. President and begin using this phrase when your critics make claims that are not truthful. Please consider Mr. President making available more metrics to show the lies that your detractors tell on a daily basis to discredit your administration.
