I would like to congratulate the 144 House and 18 Senate Republicans (including both of Texas demagogic dumbasses) for holding some 800,000 public servants livelihoods and the full faith and credit of the nation credit hostage for 2 plus weeks at a cost of 24 BILLION dollars for absolutely NOTHING. Well thats not completely true. They didnt manage to repeal the ACA, or delay the ACA, or delay of the individual mandate, or repeal of the medical device tax, or tax code reform, or tort reform, no pension reform, no net neutrality, no exclusion from the ACA for Congressional staffers but they did manage to save John Boehners feckless speakership for at least another few months, reveal Ted Cruz to be an ambitious demagogue, completely tank the GOPs poll numbers and to confirm that we now effectively now only have one political party that can be trusted to govern.
