I would like to direct your attention to something you may not have thought of; if you have thought of it then hats off to you: The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) requires companies with more than 50 employees to insure their workers or pay heavy fines. Employers may avoid fines by hiring workers who are on the pathway to citizenship under the current amnesty bill. As the immigration bill stands now, aliens on the path to citizenship are legalized but there is no requirement to insure them under Obamacare, thus giving an employment advantage to these non-citizens which is unavailable to US citizens or legal resident aliens.
