I would like to draw the attention UN secretary General to the serious issue of Baloch Missing Persons and daily discovery of bullet-ridden bodies across Balochistan. Baloch people have been raising their voice against cruelty of Pakistan army and intelligence agencies but the UN and other International Organisations have ignored the Baloch voice. Thousands of youths and old man have been taken from their homes in last 6 decades the Baloch people have been and many among them have been killed under brutal torture by Pakistani military Intelligence. Pakistani forces torture and harass our mothers and sisters during their search operations and raids. We were even forced to protest for the release of our loved one on the holy day of Eid when the entire Muslim world was busy celebrating the religious festival. The Baloch Gohaar Movement appeals to the UN Secretary General Mr Ban ki Moon to raise the issue of human rights violations in Balochistan with Pakistani authorities and put pressure on Pakistan to stop the bloodshed in occupied Baloch land. UN should take the issue of Balochistan’s illegal occupation very seriously and convince Pakistan to withdraw its forces from Balochistan peacefully.
