I would like to give a big Thank-you to all the wonderful parents/clients we have at Little Blessings Daycare, as well as to the wonderful staff. We are a small facility geared to meeting the local needs for childcare. We are enrolled in TRS! (Texas School Ready) which is a program geared towards teaching our Pre-K class beginning reading and the value of books, along with how to behave in a school setting. Our teachers are certified in TRS! and do an amazing job in both locations. We use the Pinnacle curriculum, along with Frog Street, and we put out a monthly calendar letting our parents know what is on the agenda for the month as well as the menu. We have a really great bunch of children that we love! On another note, I would like to offer an apology to my parents that have come to me telling me that other facilities are targeting them trying to get their business by bad-mouthing Little Blessings. I am sorry that this is happening and I think that it is a very low handed classless tactic. It is my concern that every child who needs a safe place to be while their parents are at work or school have a place that they are happy with whether it is Little Blessings or somewhere else. Kim and I strive to stay within the laws that govern childcare facilities to the best of our abilities while at the same time doing our best to make sure everyone is happy. The amount of ugliness going on right now is kind of shocking to me, as it has never happened before. I wish for all the childcare centers to be successful and have an outstanding reputation. Good luck to all of us! (and a big thank-you to whomever spray painted our sign with green paint...it was childish and illegal, but it gave me a laugh!)
