I would like to give a shout out to the many people that have worked for several years laying the groundwork that made this type of training and employment partnership possible. It was an honor to have been in many of the meetings that took place with North Island College, Catalyst, Western Forest Products, WoodTech 21, the folks at ADSS Woodlot for high school student hands on learning, and the many others that have been engaged in many discussions and strategies in how to meet the needs of local people....and in particular providing opportunities in the many areas of forestry for First Nations people. Good work everyone!!! And good luck to these awesome students in our Tseshaht community!!!
