I would like to hear from all AB Naida users which smartphone they are using and why they chose that smartphone and if they are happy with it. The issues I am concerned with are: 1) Clarity and volume of sound 2) Use via t-coil vs. via T-mic vs. via Bluetooth 3) If data connectivity is good or problematic Any other issues you have or experiences would be good to know. I do not (yet) have my implant, I am STILL waiting for a date. But my current smartphone definitely needs replacing. It is just 3 years old but it exhibits problematic data connectivity -- meaning my ability to connect to download email, to the internet, and to the GPS -- has been sporadic at best. I have done all I could to fix this issue -- but apparently it is a known issue with my phone (Motorola Atrix). But -- I really wanted to wait to replace it AFTER I am implanted as I want to be sure to purchase the best smartphone for me to use with the implant. But I may not be able to wait. I also think there are some kind of ratings on smartphone compatibility with HAs and CIs -- but I think it is only based on T-coil usage. Even so, if anyone knows where I can find such a rating, I would be most grateful for a point in the right direction. Ok, now GO....
