I would like to introduce to everyone who Salina Guns and Hoses will be raising money for this year... Emma Faith was born February 10, 2014 with a rare birth defect called Heterotaxy Syndrome. She has had two open heart surgeries and will need a few more surgeries when she gets a little bit older. She needs monthly RSV vaccinations from October to April. These vaccinations cost approximately $1,500 per month. If Emma were to get RSV without this vaccine, it could be life threatening due to her heart and respiratory condition. Emma’s mom Katelyn 24, dad Nick 25 and older brother Noah 2 are doing everything they can to keep their special miracle baby happy and healthy! Parker is a 7 year old Camp SWAT boy who has a hypoplastic left heart and was just recently diagnosed with Hypogammaglobulinemia (Common Variable Immune Deficiency). He just had his first immunoglobulin infusion this past weekend and will get these weekly for life. These treatments cost approximately $1,720 per month. Parker is in the 3rd grade at Heusner Elementary and loves school, reading, math, Super Mario, playing with friends and would spend every day he could in a pool. His favorite colors are red, yellow, lime green and black. He’s always had a special interest in all types of law enforcement and firefighters. Parker is going to be a big brother on October 21st and his 8th birthday is October 25th. Parker’s mom Lori 30 and dad Blaine 41 envy his spirit and strength!
