I would like to introduce you to the Fire Starters forum. This is a multi-purpose message board, and I will explain to you its 3 main functions. #1 Free share of information. #2 Activism organization. Part 1: Free share of information. We have a problem with the information we share today. It becomes lost in the depths of face book past. It is disorganized. Facebook only shares your post with the people you interact with the most. This forum has an organized information sharing system. Before I explain this I will say it is still in the early stages so keep that in mind about everything and only currently covers a few out of a few things we are interested in and will grow as it gets bigger and requires more organization. With that said onward So we have things such as a section on food including recipes, growing food; with networks to build gardens, seed exchange, boards for trade of goods possibly even services, herbal medicines, alternatives,. We have alternative forums for stuff such as GMO, other food stuff you may not want in your food, water. We have a vape forum, for all things ecigs. Self Sustainability and energy forums. Just to begin to name what there is and what will be added to it. Part 2: Activism Organization. While facebook does offer that to an extent you can see that in Mississippi you have only organization on single issues. While we mostly have the same main concerns that each group shares. But at the same time still has its segregation and allows you to not get involved with the issues that you dont have an interest in. Top issues being The Trans-pacific Partnership, Water Fluoridation, March Against Monsanto, vaccinations...both Childhood and military, education including common core and home schooling and a Politician Review forum. This is accessed by a petition with an open invite you just have to inform the staff that moderates the boards that you want to be there. Part 3: Self-Sustainability in Mississippi. Self-Sustainability in Mississippi group is a big part all this stuff all across the state. As well as a big influence on the topics of what went into the basic structure of the public area of the forum. There is also a Private area for them as well that will be open invite again all you need to do is let it be know that you want to be there.
