I would like to make a personal plea to my FB friends. As many of you know, Bonnie, the Scottish Terrier puppy mill girl I fostered last Oct-Dec became lost on May 15th. After local volunteers did our best to find her with absolutely NO LUCK, a professional service was brought in to help us develop a new, comprehensive plan which included a team of trained search dogs. The results have been extremely helpful and the tracking dogs helped narrow a search which may or may not reflect the area Bonnie currently is - she may have roamed further. The cost of this mission did not come cheap and a YouCaring fund was set up to help cover expenses. The outpouring of support to the YouCaring fund has been extraordinary, but as of today - after fees to the YouCaring site, we are about $2300 short of our goal, and about $1344 short of actual costs incurred. Many of MY personal FB friends have already donated to this fund. And I know how tight finances are for most of us - especially since most of my friends already commit most of their hard earned dollars to their own rescues. However, I would GREATLY appreciate if those friends who read this that can spare $10-$25 or even more - would make a contribution to the YouCaring fund set up for Bonnie.
